The Gusaba is a cherished Rwandan tradition and an important part of our celebration. It is a formal ceremony where the groom's family visits the bride's family to ask for her hand in marriage, symbolising the joining of two families through respect, gratitude, and love.
During the ceremony, gifts are presented, blessings are shared, and family representatives speak on behalf of each side in a joyful celebration filled with laughter, music, and tradition.
For us, the Gusaba is more than a custom. It is the moment our families came together, and we are so honoured to share it with you.
