The Gusaba is a cherished Rwandan tradition at the heart of our celebration — a formal ceremony in which the groom's family visits the bride's family to ask for her hand in marriage.
It is a deeply meaningful union of two families, rooted in the shared joy of beginning something new together. It is where promises are made not only between two people, but between two families who choose to walk this journey together.
We are so glad to share this ceremony with you. Whether this is your first time witnessing a Gusaba, or a beloved tradition close to your own heart, we invite you to celebrate with us and to feel the love that fills every moment of it.
with love,
Lorris & Melissa
